ASO Symphonic Concerts

Opening Night • Joyful Noise! • Masterworks • Season Finale: Pops!

With the exception of our Jordan Hall concerts in Boston, Atlantic Symphony’s main symphonic concerts are held at Thayer Academy Center for the Arts in Braintree. The building is on the corner of Washington Street and Central Avenue. This location is easily accessed from both Route 128 and Route 3.

Parking is free and close to the building. Please see the map and satellite picture on this page.

Most Center for the Arts evenings provide a pre-concert reception in the lobby. Enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage* and some light refreshment, beginning at 6:30 pm. Concert hall doors open at 7:00 pm.

Seating is general seating; only season subscribers, Clef Society members, and large groups have reserved seating. However, there are “no bad seats” in the main sections of the house.

There is marked seating in the lower right section of the hall for handicapped and limited mobility guests and their companions.

*Donations are gratefully accepted at the wine bar, generously sponsored by Bin Ends Wine. Our “Masterworks: After Hours” concert includes a post-concert reception with special food and drink offerings.

If you need more information regarding this concert location, please call us (not Thayer) at 781-331-3600.
